Had our 33 week appointment this week and everything looked great! Heartbeat was 163, higher than normal, but no worries. And when I thought I had maxed out the amount of fluid my body could create, I was wrong. I am swelling everywhere, so bad. Apparently this is the NORMAL stage to be swelling, the last 2 months. I just got a really good head start and so, these next few weeks should be fun. Yay.
I am super excited about this weekend – my friends are throwing me a shower back home! I can’t wait to spend time with all of them! 🙂 And then Sunday, another one of my friends from back home (who lives down here now) is taking my maternity photos! I have to say, when I booked the appointment months ago I was a lot more excited about them than I am now. I’m going to attempt to fit into my boots – which may take a lot of effort – only one pair of them could fit the other day. So, we shall see. But regardless of how I look, I really am super excited about getting photos done. He will be here before we know it! I mean, literally 5-7 weeks….. SAY WHAT!? So my husband decides to inform me that he now suddenly likes another name we had picked out before………… haha…. I don’t really know what to do about that. He also decided to just now start reading his book that I got him months ago… He’s on month 3… a little behind, but it’s the thought that counts.. haha… Cooper has been moving around like crazy. It’s getting harder and harder to eat full meals now. There just isn’t enough room.
How far along: 33 weeks 1 day
Total weight gain: 45
Maternity clothes: Oh yeah…
Stretch marks: Just the boobs…except one tiny tiny little faint one on my belly…… :-/
Sleep: Waking up like every 2 hours to go to the bathroom. Insanity.
Best moment of this week: Getting to hear his heartbeat at the doctor! Never gets old.
Miss anything: Being able to breath… not swelling… going to the bathroom a normal amount of times throughout the day… still the same ol’ stuff!
Cankles: I can’t even describe how ridiculous they are….
Movement: Moving around like crazy…. Bubba has started to feel him when he pokes a limb out, weirds him out a little bit, haha.
Food cravings: Still nothing in particular
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope – just the occasional heartburn – but even that isn’t that bad.
Have you started to show yet: Getting bigger every day!
Gender: IT’S A BOY!!!

Belly button in or out: Still in…. although you can definitely see it through my shirts now….
Wedding rings on or off: Sporting the fake one from now on….. but I like it! haha
Happy or moody most of the time: Still getting emotional and sometimes moody
Looking forward to: My friend’s shower this weekend and maternity shoot! 🙂
