23 weeks! My niece Caitlyn has spent the whole week with me. We went and got wood for the art piece that will go over his crib, stained those, and then we got some large crates and stained those. I stacked them together to make a bookcase in the nursery. Now i just need to fill it with books! Still on the to-do list is to get some shelves, whether I make them or buy them, I haven’t decided yet. 😐 And then we went to Goodwill, they had an entire section filled with brand new baby items, at least half off retail from Walmart and Target. They had pack-n-plays, strollers, car seats, etc… I got a sleeper/swing and a jumperoo, and lucked out and found another base for our carseat! I love finding good deals at Goodwill.
How far along: 23 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain: About 25 pounds
Maternity clothes: Yep – definitely. And none of my shoes fit hardly anymore…. fun stuff
Stretch marks: Just the boobs…
Sleep: Awake at least every 2-3 hours…. my back kills me and I can’t get comfortable.
Best moment of this week: Having my niece here with me and help with all my projects!
Miss anything: having multiple outfit options…. and cookie dough
Cankles: My feet and legs are so swollen…. I don’t see them getting any better
Movement: Yes! Finally definite movement!
Food cravings: nothing out of the usual
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.. still no sickness
Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah… I’m pregnant.
Gender: IT’S A BOY!!!
Labor signs: TBD
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On – hoping my hands don’t swell anymore.
Happy or moody most of the time: Emotional more so than moody….
Looking forward to: Seeing little Mac this weekend! and my shower on July 16!
